Oh Brooks, we've prayed for you!
Sarah and Jay are some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet... and I mean EVER meet. They have been a constant blessing, encouragement, and source of laughs throughout our friendship! When we heard baby boy Verrill was on his way, we were elated! Seeing them share the role of parenting, work together with minimal sleep, and love on their boy is nothing short of beautiful. Keep up the good work guys- Keith and I can't wait to give y'all a date night VERY soon + have our own Brooks snuggles ;)
When Sarah and Jay moved into their home, this adorable blue-accented wall paper was already applied. They knew this room would be a nursery one day, but they didn't know it would fit so perfectly with their little baby boy. Brooks has now taken up residence and he looks so very comfortable in his room! Every detail of his nursery is so sweet and thought out, with the adorable Peter Rabbit to each book and blanket. The cross-stitch on the wall was in Jay's room when he was a baby, and now it proudly hangs in his son's nursery... que the TEARS! Sarah's mom was able to come help during the first couple weeks of Brooks life and of course, she fell head over heels for her first grand baby! She has taken on the role of Grandma with grace and a big heart to serve her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson!
Although we have prayed for you since we knew about you... here's to more prayers and love as the days go on sweet boy, the best is yet to come!
